A thrilling and unusual musical that approaches the subject in a way that's especially exciting to young people. This is a Christmas musical with which they'll truly involve themselves. It begins almost casually with a bare stage that is quietly filling with high school students in everyday clothes. They've come to a first rehearsal of a nativity play, but there are no scripts and no director. For the fun of it, they decide to improvise their own staging of the nativity and to do it in terms of their own music and their own language. This begins a perfectly marvelous and youthful soft rock musical.
